I highly recommend booking Current Personae [a band led by JoDavi] for your next event. They were professional every step of the way, from initial contact to final payment. And to top it off, they sound amazing! Many party guests gave them praise after the party.
Josh has performed at YouTube with his bands twice in the past and has been incredibly professional. The music he plays is super upbeat and filled with a lot of classics to get the crowd moving. Always a great time and highly recommended!
JoDavi and his band Current Personae performed at my wedding reception and were a hit! Our guests loved them! They had the perfect vibe for dancing and having a good time. They were prepared and professional. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier!
We were pleased when Mr. Washington agreed to supply the live music requests for my daughter’s wedding. The wedding required four different groups, (string quartet, jazz quartet, piano/sax duo, and cover band), for
four stages of the event. Each group played well and started on time. Many guests mentioned to us how much they liked the music. Thank you, Joshua.
The highlight of our ceremony was this man's custom arrangement. He really can do it all and you can sincerely trust that your wishes are being heard and will be expertly realized. I'm looking forward to our next opportunity to work together.
“I asked Joshua Washington to create symphony arrangements of my songs to play with the Boston Pops and other groups because I knew I wouldn’t even have to give him specifics on how to write compelling, emotional pieces. He delivered above and beyond what I wanted, and with professionalism to boot. His ability to deliver beautiful stories with his arrangements is incomparable.”
This concert was my antidote to the lockdown.
During this concert, I realized the beauty of reliving memories brought into vivid consciousness via music.
I was instantly transported to my 8th grade class when a student, Stephen Kim performed “Schindler’s List” on his violin. I relived the emotions from 12 years ago while simultaneously making a new memory.
I believe we receive G-d more directly through music. Maybe that explains the secret language I witness when watching musicians communicate without words during a set.
